Quick post:
I forgot to tell you about the black snake I found in the yard yesterday! She was only about 2' long. I found her when I went to hook up the trailer to the riding mower. She was so shiny and black that she must have just shed her skin. I say "her" because she just looked like a her. I didn't have gloves on so I didn't pick her up. I lifted her with a stick a couple times and then she glided under the woodpile behind the shed.
THEN, this morning, we heard turkeys up on the mountain behind the house. There must ave been a bunch of them because they were gobbling and rattling in the leaves and making a racket!
